The Good Neighbours formed in January of this year, and were created from nothing more than a jamming session between friends on a cold wet night in Banks.
Unaware of each others' outstanding talent, Jake Pilkington and John Markey have been next door neighbours for the past 14 years and never thought of creating music together until earlier this year.
To listen to their sound, as I’m sure you will agree, you will come to the conclusion that this songwriting duo had been honing their talent for the last ten years.
With tremendous backing from their family Jake and John are on the path to national recognition for their supreme talent.
In early March 2008 the lads were recommended to a Tracr Records, who instantly wanted to meet. Inside a week the lads had secured a record deal with an EP release scheduled for April.
To try and give you some small idea just how talented these lads are, all the tracks on the myspace were recorded instantly at the time of creation. And all this was done in the aptly named "shed of creation".
