Electric guitar tutors could soon become 'professional teachers' when recognised diploma courses are launched later this year.
The scheme has been backed by Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour.
Southport-based band the Layoffs are currently searching for a keyboard player aged 17-35.
All music is original and their sound has been described as 90s rock - in the ilk of U2.
Anyone interested can contact Simon on 07843019877 or visit the band's website: www.myspace.com/thelayoffs
